It doesn't sound like this trip yielded the extreme savings we're used to . . . but look again. Most of the items purchased were either clearance priced or resulted in free additional items. Of course we still used coupons to improve the bottom line. Not everything purchased is shown in the photo.

- Coffeemate - coupon for 1 free Coffeemate mail-in coupon from Coffeemate, $3.99 value FREE. Here are other Coffeemate coupons.
- 3 boxes of Quaker oatmeal (22 packets in each) - clearance priced at $2.32 each. These are a great value - a box of 8 regularly costs more than this. I didn't have these with me but you can use the $1 coupon from the February issue of All You magazine and also stack on a $1 Target coupon.
- 12 Smart Ones on sale for $1.80 each less $3 peelie coupon for buying 10 or use this coupon
- 1 free Smart One breakfast (with purchase of 10 Smart Ones), saved $2.46, FREE
- 2 insulated freezer packs with purchase of 12 Smart Ones FREE (these are available at Target)
- Olay soap - package of 10 bars with extra moisture, clearance priced for $4 less $1 coupon
- 1 2-pack of Listerine whitening, clearance priced at $4.48 less $1 coupon. Later in the day we found this at at a drug store with the regular price of $7.99 for a single bottle which is 4 times the price of the two I got!
- Fructis shampoo clearance priced at $2.54 less $1 coupon
- 2 DentaStix on sale for $3 each less two $2 coupons (Red Plum insert 1-30) or use these $1 coupons
- Purina Cat Food bag on sale for $10.99 less $1 coupon (2-13 Smart Source insert). You can also stack on the $1 Purina coupon from Target.com here.
- Purina canned cat food on sale for $11.99 less $1 coupon (2-13 Smart Source newspaper insert)
- Less employee discount of $7.86
- Total pre-tax out of pocket savings of 59%
