Recycling Ideas-Starbuck Coffee Grounds

Spring is coming, and with that, the arrival of flowers! Starbucks sacks up their used coffee grounds and places them in sacks on racks by the front door. This is great for acid loving plants such as Azaleas, Hydrangeas, Roses, and almost all evergreens. If you have some eggshells to grind up and add to the mix, even better! And Starbuscks gives these away FREE!

There are yellow and green dumpsters all around town, at most churches and schools, where you can donate paper. You save a tree and they get a donation!

Plastic bags can be recycled at Reasor's, Target, Food Pyramid, and Wal-Mart in containers at the front of the store.

Aluminum cans are collected by many of the local schools and at Target.

Plastic bottles can be donated at a machine in front of Homeland with the proceeds benifitting a charity.

Cell Phone and Print Cartridges can be disposed of at Target Super Centers.
