The Extreme Shopper shares timely shopping lists with links to coupons to save you 70-100% on groceries, everyday household items, gifts, and more. We do link as many coupons as possible but, to be able to seize the most opportunities, you need to collect coupons each week and sign up for rewards programs. How do you start?
Today is Sunday. That means the big Sunday edition of the newspaper that usually contains Smart Source and Red Plum coupon inserts is available. Buy two copies from QuikTrip (2 for $3 compared to $2 each elsewhere). Cut out or store the coupons and keep them handy. We'll write more later about ways to organize them. You will need to adopt a system that works for you - but I'm constantly reminded to have all of my coupons with me to seize timely, unexpected deals.
Next, visit our coupons page on this blog. We've provided links to websites where you can print online coupons for products that you use.
Third, for your favorite brands, visit their websites and look for coupons. Go to Facebook and "like" their pages and look for promotions and coupons there. Marketers are increasingly using social and online media to distribute promotions to their targeted customers - it's simply more effective and efficient for them.
Fourth, visit the rewards page on this blog for information to sign up for various retailers' rewards programs. These programs are designed to build customer loyalty so they offer special deals for members. We highly recommend the Homeland One Card and CVS' Extra Care Bucks and Beauty Club cards.
Finally, check back each day for our timely shopping lists so you can learn to save while doing!
PS - If you like the service we provide, please refer your friends to our blog or Facebook pages. You can also sign up to receive each new post via email so you never miss an opportunity to save. Thanks!
