3-20 Homeland: Extreme savings of 69%

Today was one of those days when I needed specific items - including bleach, olive oil, and trash bags. I went online and found a few coupons and headed to Homeland. Planning ahead allows us to be flexible to seize opportunities - and that's what happened today.

The following items were clearance priced at 50% off so I loaded up:
  • 1 Full Circle trash bags, 40-count 30 gallon size, regularly $5.82, clearance priced 50% off for $2.91.
  • 10 Fiber One blueberry muffins, frozen, package of 4 (only 3 packages shown above). Regularly $4.22 each, clearance priced 50% off at $2.11.
The following items were on sale and discounted further with coupons:
These items were either not on sale or I didn't have coupons for - and I pledge to do better next trip!
  • 1 Pompeiian Extra Virgin Oil, $6.19 less $1 coupon doubled, final price $4.19
  • 1 Crisco vegetable oil, $4.59 on sale for $3
  • 1 Always Save bleach, regular price of $1.39
Final extreme savings: Spent $39.07, saved $85.40, extreme savings of 69%.

We also got rain checks for two items that, between the sale price and doubled coupons, will be almost almost FREE next trip:
